As a West Oakland resident, I am angered and saddened that many of us have no access to a full-service grocery store. Many more are home-bound or have no transportation. People's Grocery provides direct access to fresh produce and healthy snacks. And with their Grub Box program, residents can purchase healthy food at an affordable price. This service is critical to my community. Thank you to all who keep People's Grocery running! We need you and appreciate you!

This group really makes a difference as a grassroots, direct service to their community! They are in their community helping by nutrition education (Youth & Adult), & healthy organic food in the hands of the people who really need it. You would be hard pressed to find a better organization.
